About Me
I struck my first golf ball at the age of 13
years old and shortly afterwards joined the
Junior section at the Burford Golf Cub. On
leaving school I joined Burford Head
Professional Norman Allen, as his assistant,
and embarked on a career in golf.. I gained
my PGA qualifications at an early age and then
turned my sights to the European Tour School.
After numerous near misses at the final stages
Of qualifying I gained my full tour card and
played in over 50 events with the best finish of
9th place in the Austrian open. In 1995 I
joined The West Berkshire Golf Club as Head
Professional.. I have had several wins in PGA
Events, most recently winning the 2008
Glenmuir PGA Professionals Championship.
I now divide my time between managing the
professionals shop at The West Berkshire
Golf Club, teaching and tournament golf.
